The Battle of Iwo Jima in Doss, Texas

Flamethrower vs. Nip Tank 2

This is one of many screen caps I got from my digital video camera, and dangit I forgot to film in progressive scan so the individual frames come out better, sorry the pics are substandard. Here's one in which you can see a tiny Japanese tank just above a guy shooting a flamethrower. We stood right behind this 105mm howitzer, the biggest gun in civilian hands in the US, owned by a guy from Texas who collects tanks. Lots of his stuff was on display at this reenactment, reportedly the largest ever staged, with tanks, flamethrowers, hundreds of men and a lot of blanks. A good time for all, as was the parade I managed to erase most of of on my video camera.
