Fred is so serious, it's hard to get him to relax some times when he feels like there's a lot of activity to supervise. He's great at herding kids and making sure no balls of any kind are being thrown or otherwise enjoyed without him, I suppose he could coach a soccer team if the kids weren't big enough to squash him inadvertently. He can certainly handle himself no matter the size of the opponent, and routinely pushes me around on the bed. Fred is one tough customer, and he don't take no BS from nobody.
For a few minutes in the morning and before and after naps, he's the sweetest, gentlest little thing in the world. Then he wakes up a little more and thinks about wrasslin' bobcats. He is the man of the house in his own mind if nowhere else.
